FAQ

What is a legal Focus Group?

A legal Focus Group simulates a jury by gathering real people to hear a summary of your case and provide honest feedback on liability, damages, and strategy. You can also use a legal Focus Group to practice voir dire, presentation skills and more.

What Can Focus Groups Be Used For?

  • Practice voir dire and learn how jurors respond to specific questions.
  • Identify juror proof issues and learn what jurors believe needs more explanation or evidence.
  • Expose juror biases that could work against your client.
  • Develop and test case themes to see what resonates.
  • Assess the value and clarity of trial graphics, visuals, and animations.
  • Test the impact and persuasiveness of specific evidence.
  • Refine your opening statements and closing arguments before trial.

What is the Jury Report?

The Jury Report is our streamlined survey product that gathers feedback from 50 real people in your case venue, delivered within a week.

How is this different from a mock trial?

Mock trials require in-person logistics and are time-consuming. Our Focus Groups and Jury Reports are faster and more cost effective without sacrificing insight.

Who are the participants?

We recruit participants who match the demographics of your case venue. All are screened through an extensive screening process and questionnaire to ensure unbiased, jury eligible feedback.

Is my case information kept confidential?

Yes. Participants agree to strict confidentiality terms, and we do not share your case details beyond the controlled environment of the group.

Can I record the Focus Group session?

Yes. With your approval, sessions can be recorded for review, internal analysis, or presentation to clients or adjusters.

What’s included in a Jury Report?

You’ll receive a breakdown of juror responses, liability/damages feedback, charts, and key takeaways—all organized into an easy to digest PDF.

How do I get started?

For Focus Groups: Just provide us with a few quick details such as your office address, date, time and we’ll take it from there. We’ll handle all recruiting and vetting. For Jury Reports: Provide us with a Case Summary and we'll start collecting feedback on it immediately with participants in your city.

How long does it take?

Focus groups are typically completed within 1-2 weeks. Jury Reports are delivered within a week of receiving your case summary.
